Ch'iu-p'u teems with white gibbons;
They leap and bounce like flying snow.
They tug and pull their young hanging from the branches,
Come down to drink and play with moon in the water.
At Autumn Cove, so many white monkeys, bounding, leaping up like snowflakes in flight! They coax and pull their young ones down from the branches to drink and frolic with water-borne moon. |
