The willow branches bow so low we need not pluck
them, $(token of farewell;)$
The pine trees pierce the clouds—as the eye climbs
them their crests seem heaven-high!
The $(purple)$ wistaria, tangled with shadows, could hide
even a yellow-haired monkey
And on the lush cypress, musk deer could grow fat.
