The cage is designed to be spacious ,
But would fray your plumes if you're impetuous .
Don't you feel lost when looking up to the cloud ,
And in vain if for water you cry aloud .
Your colourful wings have been sheared shorter ,
You can't fly high , e'en though become a bolter .
Neither falcon nor hawk you'll now care for ;
Stay where you are then , and don't you get sore .
