Have I , a roamer , ever drifted into dreams ?
The opaque autumnal sky never would turn blue !
Sieving through bamboo screens the setting moonlight streams ;
Murmuring under my pillows the far-away river flows .
I have no means to manage my meal and clothes ,
In the tight corner I depend upon my friend .
I shall write some sheets of paper to my old spouse ,
So she will know why I'm not home and here detained .
