In alpenglow the town of thousand homes are in dreams ,
In the tower by the river I daily sit to the greens .
Though another night is wasting fishers are still on float ,
Though autumn comes the swallows flit still to and fro .
Like Kuang Heng , I've said something to the King , yet woe is
me ,
Liu Xiang was learned in Classics, and I can't be . And my young schoolmates they all have fortune on their side ;
In light furs , on fat steeds , through the Five Tombs they
ride.
