My little terrace resembles the palm of your hand.
I have a six-foot white rattan bed,
Together with one stalk of green bamboo for a cane.
The breeze blows bark from the bamboo;
The crane leaves its firm imprint on the moss.
With whom can I share this solitude?
Only with an indolent man
Coming here of his own volition.
