With a full cup in hand,
All's at rest in my heart,
But when gazing at spring
One should always be tipsy,
For no one on getting old
Can suppress sadness.
As I play with the water,
Idly turn the boat around,
Search for flowers,
Letting the horse lead me.
I have proof before my eyes
Of diminishing strength.
But whenever I can frolic,
Frolic I must.
A full cup in my hands, all things at rest in my heart. Looking up at spring be ever tipsy for getting old you can't suppress the sadness. Playing with the waters, turning the boat around; looking for the flowers, letting the horse lead. Seeing my strength diminish before my eyes, when I can frolic frolic I must. |
