英譯: |
There's wine, but I don't drink for I am ill;
There are poems, but I am too lazy to sing.
My head is so muddled
That I've resigned fishing,
My hand so paralyzed
That I've stooped lute-playing.
Days are eventless, deep in idleness.
Externally I quiet my aching limbs;
Internally I cultivate
Heart's placidity and non-being.
Window and door admit the autumn scene;
Clear at evening are shadows
Of bamboo and tree.
While peacefully seated by my small pond
At times I feel the pure breeze swaying my collar.
There's wine but sick, I don't drink, There are poems but lazy, I don't sing. Head muddled, I've given up fishing— Hand paralyzed, I've stopped playing the lute. All day enclosed eventless, where I live idle deep. Outwardly I pacify my ailing limbs, inwardly I cultivate a heart of placid non-being. Window and door take in the autumn scene, bamboo and tree clear the evening shadow. Peacefully seated by the small pond, at times lapel moved by the clear breeze. |
