英譯: |
My nature is far from the spirit of these times,
So the world and I forget one another.
My name is still registered as court official
But for pleasure I look to the friend of my youth.
Since I am old
How can I live without talk and laughter?
Though poor
There is still wine to drink.
At any instant I may seek out my companions
To enjoy days of fresh breeze and fine scenery,
Again and again to share in delights
Which no minor illness ever prevents.
Heaven permits Yung-ch'i's pleasures;
Mankind forgives Chieh Yü's madness.
Change your calling to that of a recluse,
Move your home directly to Tipsy Village.
I'll not only beckon to Meng-te
But attempt to persuade the Duke as well.
You know that it's the vital route
That is menaced most by wind and wave,
The lust for power
That bustles around markets and wellheads—
There's really nothing in the world worth caring about—
Please ponder this!
My nature if far from these times so the world and I forget one another. My name is still registered as a court official but for joy I look to the friend of my youth. Old, how can I be without talk and laughter? Poor, still there's wine and drink. At any time I seek out companions, pursue the days for breeze and scene. Time and again joy in frolic, which small little illness cannot prevent. Heaven allows Yung-ch'i's pleasure, man forgives Chieh Yü's madness. Change your calling to that of a recluse, move your home right into Tipsy Village. I'll not only beckon to Meng-te, I'll try to persuade Duke (Niu Seng-ju) at the same time. You know it's the important route that's menaced by wind and wave, the house of power that flurries about the markets and wells. There's really nothing in that world worth caring about— You cannot but think about this. |
