英譯: I have never really envied fame. High or low has been all the same. Whether possessing small things or large, I've generally tired in the end. If you hunt for fame or possessions, You're always vexed with yourself; Renouncing them, you'll be at peace. It's indeed easy to grasp this principle But oh, so hard to follow it! Don't trust to mere words, Look and see for yourself.
Fame? High or low, I've never much envied it. Things? Small or large, once had I've mostly tired of them. Follow (fame and things) you're always self-harassed, go against them you'll be a self at peace. Very easy to know this principle but oh, so hard to follow it! Don't believe in empty words, look and see for yourself.
