I like the beauty
of this rocky valley
the best one around here
I think
birds in pairs
fly into the sunset
one cloud
in a clear sky
the remoteness of all this
is what the natives boast of
plenty of water
plenty of bamboo
I think about settling here
learning to gather healing herbs
although I haven't said so
to my children.
