Three rivers merge on the border of Ch'u.
Nine streams wind through Bramble-Gate Gap.
Mountain colors infuse being and nonbeing,
and the Han flows beyond heaven and earth,
outland cities floating shorelines on ahead,
rippled waves fluttering empty sky-distances.
This wind-and-sun Hsiang-yang landscape:
it keeps Old-Master Mountain forever drunk.
