The leaves come down as the wild geese cross to the south;
The wind from the north is chilly over the river.
My home is far off, on a bend of the river $(Han)$,
There beyond the rim of the clouds of Chu.
My homesick tears while travelling are spent;
My lonely sail can be seen on the edge of the sky.
I don’t know where the ford is, and want to ask –
The evening sun shines boundlessly on the flat water.
