Our thatch house perched where land ends,
we leave the brushwood gate always open.
Dragons and fish settle into evening waters.
Moon and stars drifting above autumn peaks,
dew gathers clarity, then thaws. High clouds
thin away－none return. Women man wind-
tossed boats anchored here: young, ashamed,
that river life battering their warm beauty.
