All kinds of plants in the spring-time vie for glory,
Poppy must have gained the finest dowry.
Rare as she is, she wears enticing rigs,
While the o'erflorid trees are full of twigs.
Such as peaches and plums e'erywhere profuse,
And can be transplanted, as though they are refuse.
So percious creature you poppy have up grown,
And why all alone you live and wouldn't be known?
