The cage is designed to be spacious,
But would fray your plumes if you're impetuous.
Don't you feel lost when looking up to the cloud,
And in vain if for water you cry aloud.
Your colourful wings have been sheared shorter,
You can't fly high, e'en though become a bolter.
Neither falcon or hawk will you now care for;
Stay where you are then, and don't you get sore.
