Nevertheless we meet now and again,
Me in the evening you entertain.
In the clear pond the splashing carp, make a rout,
On the spring lawns the elks and deers bleat out.
The Du wine that you urge me to drink more,
The pears you need not purchase from outdoor.
The mountain path back to my hamlet is steep,
But I'll be not afraid when I'm drunk deep.
