Along the Yangtzs and Han River I roam,
A state pedant, I think of going home.
A sheet of cloud floats far to the unknown,
And all through the night I'm alone with the moon.
I'm like the setting sun, but with a heart young still,
And autumn winds fan me rallying from ill.
In ancient days they kept the aged horse,
Not necessarily because it could run a long course.
