Sine I strayed to Hunan Province one year has fled by;
Once more the swallows, pecking mud for nests, swiftly fly.
Having entered my old home, with me they made acquaintance;
Today, at the spring feast, they look at me from a distance.
I pity them for building abodes everywhere,
It's no different from wandering in the world here and there.
They twitter for a while on the tall mast and then take wing,
Flitting through blossoms or shaving waters, my tears they win.
