High halls overlook limpid waves.
Endless view washes mind and eyes.
Rolling free, cloud-sky moves;
Reflecting, crystal-clear, a hamlet in ruins.
Magpies make nests upon empty forests.
Pheasant songs ringing in quiet valleys.
No break at all receiving incoming scenes;
Wander back and forth, half-staggering,
And curve up the spring banks;
Cocked cap, lean against a tall tree,
Mere chord of moon suddenly ashen—
To see again: islets should be green.
