Boat cast off and you sailed away
Beyond my gaze, while I still stand.
Meeting: robust laughs still fresh. Going: tears surge. Departing feast already heart-smiting. Dreary city, among other things, brings sorrow. Sky biting cold, distant mountains clean. Sun at dusk; long river rushes. Weigh anchor. You recede into the distance. And at the prow you still stand. |
