A traveller returning from Wenyang handkerchief wet with tears
Silent silent falling flowers birds crying in the hills
Green green the willows at our crossing place.
By the city of Kuang-wu: dusking spring. At Wen-yang, a homeward man's tears wet lapels. Falling flowers still, still, cries a mountain bird. Willows grow green green: across the river I drift. |
