Is this night's only
And as a place for leisure
All speak of the Eastern Capital.
There one sees thousands of layers of snow
Above and upon Sung Mountain,
Two jewels high and low
Beside the Lo River.
A scene so pure,
To be loved and cherished,
Is hard to find elsewhere.
White-haired men encourage one another
Competing here for pleasure and joy.
We're sure we shall be there
For another rendezvous next year,
But who can say
Whether we'll be in health and good spirits?
