How glad I am
That we reach seventy together,

Our minds' eyes behold old friends who have gone.
Fame and long life hardly go together—
We must sit at ease,
Thinking of what life signifies.
Glad we get to be seventy together, not plagued by being decrepit, sick and poor. Already famed within the Seas, long-lived in the world of men.
