The sun sinks towards the horizon.
The light clouds are blown away.
A rainbow shines on the river.
The last raindrops spatter the rocks.
Cranes and herons soar in the sky.
Fat bears feed along the banks.
I wait here for the west wind
And enjoy the crescent moon
Shining through misty bamboos.
Through the evening village the winds sweep hard, With shower spraying the recluse courtyard. The ruderals bask in the slanting sunbeams, The river scenes loom on the bamboo screens. My disarranged books who would care for? I by myself shall repour the wine cupful. Often do I here gossips from all sides, No wonder if an aged man here hides. |
