These beautiful days here in Hsiang-yang
Make drunken my old mountain heart!

Shires and burghs shimmer o'er the shore yonder, The horizon ripples with waves surging up. How enchanting the scenery in Xiangyang! I will stay with old Shan and drain my cup. Ford of Ch'u, knot for three Hsiang waters. Bramble Gate, through which nine tributaries go. The river flows beyond the sky and earth. The mountain's color, between seen and unseen. Cities float before the bank. Waves move the distant sky. In Hsiang-yang, a gorgeous day today. Get drunk with Shan Chien of Chin. |
