And Lady Yang's bright smile came through the curtains.
The sun does cast its slanting light Across Long-Life Terrace. Red-blossoming fruit-trees, shining bright, Receive the morning dew on their glad face. The Emperor bestowed last night Upon another girl his grace, Who went behing the curtain – out of sight; Her smile, half hidden, was hard to trace. |
