題名: 涼州詞二首 一
作者: 王之渙
黃河遠上白雲間, 一片孤城萬仞山。 羌笛何須怨楊柳, 春風不度玉門關。
英譯: IN the distance the Yellow River loses itself in white clouds A lonely stretch of wall trails away among topless hills; Why must the Tartar flute wrong the willows (by playing a willow song) For the spring wind cannot enter the Jade Door Pass?
The Yellow River climbs amid the white clouds A lonely city stands amid heaven-piercing peaks. Why should the Tartar's complain of the willows? The wind of spring never crosses the Jade Gate Pass.
Where a yellow river climbs to the white clouds, Near the one city-wall among ten-thousand-foot mountains, A Tartar under the willows is lamenting on his flute That spring never blows to him through the Jade Pass.
The yellow and uprises as high as white cloud, The lonely Great Wall lost amid the mountains proud. Why should the Mongol flute complain no willows grow? Beyond the Pass of Jade no vernal wind will blow.
