題名: 清平調詞三首 二
作者: 李白
一枝穠豔露凝香, 雲雨巫山枉斷腸。 借問漢宮誰得似, 可憐飛燕倚新妝。
英譯: I am seduced by a spray of red blossom fragrant with dew, Loneliness like that of the spirit of the clouds and rain inspires a hopeless heart-broken longing. Let me ask who in the Han palace was to be compared with her? Not even the "flying swallow" in her grand toilet, for all her languishing beauty.
A flower-girt branch grows sweeter from the dew. The spirit of snow and rain unheeded calls. Who wakes to memory in these palace walls? Fei-yen!—but in the robes an Empress knew.
A branch of opulent, beautiful flowers, sweet-scented under frozen dew. No love-night like that on the Sorceress Mountain for these; their bowels ache in vain. Pray may I ask who, in the Palace of Han, is her equal? Even the “Flying Swallow” is to be pitied, since she must rely upon ever new adornments.
Lovely now together, his lady and his flowers Lighten for ever the Emperor's eye, As he listens to the sighing of the far spring wind Where she leans on a railing in the Aloe Pavilion.
There's a perfume stealing moist from a shaft of red blossom, And a mist, through the heart, from the magical Hill of Wu — The palaces of China have never known such beauty — Not even Flying Swallow with all her glittering garments.
She is a peony sweetened by dew impearled, Far fairer than the Goddess bringing showers in dreams. Who coild equal her in palace of ancient world? Not e'en the newly-dressed "Flying Swallow", it seems.
