I think a lot about the days of my youth
When I went hunting in the broad uplands.
I had no wish for government jobs;
You couldn't have tempted me with the
life of the gods.
Galloping like the wind on my white horse,
I shouted at the hares and loosed my hawks
on them.
Then, before I knew it, things went to pieces.
Now who would bother with an old man?
