Homeward bound I ride on horseback out beyond the
white clouds;
The mountain road zig-zags on before me.
Today and tomorrow,
I know my heart will not be at rest...
I have troubled you, a busy official, to bid me farewell;
Expect me again with the spring flowers.
At each step forward, I look back at you.
Slowly I approach the nearby pass.
