The water has risen high in the streams of Hu-nan While the sky de-
clares the lateness of autumn. How can one help weeping when his re-
sources are exhausted? An old man has not the strenth to bear too much
sadness.
At the General Headquarters, there is a host of able man; In both char-
acter and achievement, gentlemen, you are known to excel. Journeying
to the North, one will have to brave rain and snow; Which of you will
sympathize with the traveler in shabby fur?
