題名: | 雙燕 |
作者: | 杜甫 |
旅食驚雙燕, 銜泥入此堂。 應同避燥溼, 且復過炎涼。 養子風塵際, 來時道路長。 今秋天地在, 吾亦離殊方。 | |
英譯: |
A sojourning family at dinner is startled to see two swallows, Holding
mud in their beaks, fly into this hall. We may indeed share our shelter
from inclement weather, And pass together the inconstancies of time.
Like us, you will raise little ones amid wind and dust; Like you, we
have come from a long distance. You will be leaving next autumn, if
the world exists, We too shall hope to leave this strange place.
A pair of swallows startled me at my passover meal That to the northern Hall some mud were bearing for their nest, Me, doomed till cooler autumn come in sweltering clime to rest, Until with them I fly away, this damp and heat to feel. The little ones into the world are born 'twixt Earth and Air. Their parents here to bear them a weary joureny wing. To them above, to me on Earth, may Autumn free-dom bring. Then also I with them can fly this Outland of Despair. |
