The spotted duck without a speck of mud Often waddles slowly before
the hall steps. "Your peculiar plumage shows your independence; But
you manifest a too clear discrimination between white and black. Even
if you are conscious of the jealousy of other breeds; It is hardly wise
for you to startle their eyes. You have your share of the feed; Make up
your mind not to quack first."
Waddling about the stone steps , you pied duck Are too clean to be stained by filthy muck . Your feathers are strong enough to show your might , But cut too clearly the black part from white . You know not jealousy to come from all sides , Don't you do anything to start the green eyes ! There're rice and grain to feed your bill , Be careful not to quack first and quack ill ! |
