Willow catkins, sprinkling the road, spread a white carpet. Lotus leaves,
dotting the stream, form a string of coins. A small pheasant hides from
view among the bamboo sprouts, While a few tiny ducklings sleep by
their mother on the sand.
The willow catkins pave the path with a white blanket , The lotus leaves are copper coins on the brooklet . A fledgeling pheasant hides behind the bamboo $(shoot)$ , On the sand-bar young ducks roost by their mam$('s foot)$ . |
