The beautiful rocky valley of Tung-k'o Surpasses comparison with any
valley of the other hills. Birds in pairs fly toward the setting sun; A
single puff of cloud floats in the clear sky. The inaccessibility of the
region is the boast of the rustics here. In the landscape, water and bam-
boo are evenly divided. Here I want to live the rest of my life, gathering
medicinal herbs, Though I have not yet said a word to the children.
