Brothers I have far away from me, Which of you three thin men is
the strong one? We have been rolling apart with no chance of reunion,
For the road is long and darkened with dust of the Tatar rebellion.
I see the wild geese and then the cranes flying eastward; I wish I
could mount one of them to reach your side. Oh! This third song, I
shall sing thrice. If I die here, will you know where to find my bones?
Brothers far away from me all three must be thin I wonder which is strongest we roll away from each other and have no chance to meet the roads between are long and choked with the dust of Northern troops I watch the cranes and geese fly over, heading east if I could go with them and be with you! Oh third little song sung thrice you're just as sad if I die here how will they gather my bones? |
