Save by some few poor lonely flowers.....
One white-haired dame, An Emperor's $(flame)$,
Sits down and tells of bygone hours.
EMPTY and falling down is the ancient travelling palace, The palace flowers put forth their red blooms in silent neglect. Inside a white-headed palace woman Idly mumbles of the (glorious) days of Hsüan Tsung. In the faded old imperial palace, Peonies are red, but no one comes to see them.... 寂びれきったかつての行宮、
宮中に紅く咲く花もさびしそう。
白髪の宮女がまだここにいて、
しずかにったまま玄宗の往事を語りだす。
寥落（りょうらく）たり 古（いにし）えの行宮（あんぐう） 宮花（きゅうか） 寂寞（せきばく）として紅（くれな）いなり 白頭（はくとう）の宮女（きゅうじょ）在（あ）り 閑坐（かんざ）して玄宗（げんそう）を説（と）く 寥落たり 古えの行宮 宮花 寂寞として紅いなり 白頭の宮女在り 閑坐して玄宗を説く ひっそりとぺ気もないままにさびれた昔の離宮。いまではそこに紅い花だけが寂しく咲いている。かつて宮仕えをした白髪の老女がいて、しずかに坐ってありし日の玄宗のことを物語ってくれる。 寥落（れうらく）たり 古（いにしえ）の行宮（あんぐう） 宮花（きゅうくわ） 寂寞（せきばく）として紅（くれない）なり 白頭（はくとう）の宮女（きゅうぢょ）在（あ）り 閑坐（かんざ）して 玄宗（げんそう）を説（と）く 寥落たり 古の行宮 宮花 寂寞として紅なり 白頭の宮女在り 閑坐して 玄宗を説く |
