on spring wind, fragrance of grass and flower:
where mud is soft the swallows fly;
where sands are warm the mandarin ducks doze.
Rivers and mountains in open sunlight soft winds among flowers and spice plants swallows packing their nests with mud ducks basking on warm sand The river and the hills are beautiful in the lingering sunlight; The flowers and the herbs are fragrant in the spring wind. The swallows are flying with soft mud in their beaks, While the ducks still slumber on the warm sandy beach. |
