Two orioles sit in the green willows singing;
See egrets in flight to the blue sky are winging!
From the window the snow-peaks eternal I spy,
And an ocean-bound vessel is anchored hard by.
Two golden orioles sing in the green willows; A flight of egrets soar into the blue heavens; The window frames the eternal snow on the West Ling; At the door lies moored the boat from distant Wu. Two brown orioles sing among shining willos, While a line of white egrets climb the blue skies. This window holds the snow that for a thousand years has capped the Western Mountains. Beyond my gate are anchored the boats that can sail thousands of miles east to Wu. A pair of orioles sing amid the willows green. And up the sky a flock of herons white now soar. Westward the snow-capped peaks are through my windows seen. While junks from far-off Tung-wu lie beyond my door. A pair of golden orioles Sings in the bright greeen willows. A line of white egrets crosses The clear blue sky. The window Frames the western mountains, white With the snows of a thousand years. Anchored to the pilings are Boats from eastern Wu, Three thousand miles from home. |

二羽の黄鳥がみどりの柳の葉蔭に鳴き交わし、一列の白さぎがあお空高くのぼってゆく。草堂の窓にははるかな西嶺の根雪が額ぶらに囲まれたように眺められ、門前にははるばる呉の地からやって来た船が停泊している。
両箇（りゃうこ）の黄鸝（くわうり） 翠柳（すいりう）に鳴（な）き 一行（いっかう）の白鷺（はくろ） 青天（せいてん）に上（のぼ）る 窗（まど）には含（ふく）む 西嶺（せいれい） 千秋（せんしう）の雪（ゆき） 門（もん）には泊（はく）す 東吳（とうご） 万里（ばんり）の船（ふね） 両箇の黄鸝 翠柳に鳴き 一行の白鷺 青天に上る 窗には含む 西嶺 千秋の雪 門には泊す 東吳 万里の船 |
