Since apes are still able to learn,
Shouldn't men study with renewed zeal?
When the lead carriage falls into a pit,
The rear carriage must alter its course.
If you are not aware of this,
You'll meet, I fear, with evil and destruction.
Even if you were born a Yaksa,
Change your ways and you'll become a Bodhisattva!
