Winter passed, and then went Spring.
As I near my village my heart grows more afraid,
And I dare not inquire of those that come to meet me.
No news, no letters —0 $all$ winter, 00 $all$ spring — Beyond the mountains. With every homeward step more timid still I dare not even inquire of passerby. |
