"Clouds and water block the way home,
though when I came, winds blew the ship along—"
He says nothing of what to do if he should die,
but, sick as he is, still sits in meditation.
Deep walls swallow up the light of the lamp,
open windows air out the moxa smoke.
"Dreams of home are ended now—
make my grave by the temple gate."
