The place is beautiful, far from the dusty world;
Full of leisure, I think of the passing glory of the year.
The evening has cleared; a wind blows through the bamboos.
Deep in the night, the moon shines upon the flowers.
Among random rocks, I know, the fountain is choked;
Overgrown with moss, the footpath is left to run aslant.
Happily relying on music and wine for comfort,
I forget that I am living in a house among the hills.
