A dragon protects the jasper windows, a phoenix closes the door.
Weightless, she is easily lost in the three-li-mist;
Immune from the cold, she always wears the five-hundred-grain gown.
In the human world, there must be a Ts’ui Lo-shih;
Up in heaven, there should be no Liu Wu-wei.
May I ask the pair of white swallows on the hairpin:
Every morning, when does she return from the hall of pearls?
