How can the things of spring be my concern?
In human life there is only forced gaiety.
The flowers look as if they had folded for the night;
The wine is cold, but I have not even noticed it.
In this alien land the east wind is moist;
In the Central Realm the wide view must be fine!
From this tower one can gaze northward:
Risking my life, I lean on the dangerous railings.
