At Dragon Gate rises estranging mist.
Winter trees - bundles of bare, harsh branches,
Twilight purple freezes in the dappled sky.
Alone through the frosty wilderness I go,
On a jaded horse, among the tumbleweed.
I lean on your carriage, shedding a tear or two
That dare to fall on the front of your green robe.
