By the city wall a flute mourns the dusk,
Over the village market a few wings pass.
Wars and weapons for so many long years;
Taxes collected, I return in the depth of night.
Leaves fall from darkened trees along the cliff,
And the Galaxy grows dim skirting the frontier.
The dipper aslant, I crane $(my)$ neck to see;
The moon thins, and magpies cease to fly.
