The rain has entered this upper chamber to dampen the many curtains,
And the mountain chill has descended upon the city by the river. The
path has to be higher on the sandy beach; More of the sharp rocks will
show when the water recedes. The chrysanthemums here are sadly scat-
tered; But the pine forest at a distance shows more freshness. The down-
pour has wet the red-lacquered balustrade. With countless worries, I
stand by a pillar of the veranda.
