In late sun, the beauty of river and hill;
on spring wind, fragrance of grass and flower;
where mud is soft the swallows fly;
where sands are warm the mandarin ducks doze.
Mountains and rivers lie in the opening sun. Spring winds freshen the flowers and herbs. Swallows are flying to fill their nests with mud. Doves spread themselves drowsily in hot sand. |
